Infor Lawson User Experience 10.1.0 – Cleanup Automation Configuration

The new Lawson User Experience 10.1.0 delivers the latest Infor Design SoHo 4 UX: themes, user configurable contrast, more responsive design, better use of available screen space, improved navigation, and more. The Lawson User Experience 10.1.0 is generally available for Infor Lawson version 10 customers deployed in the Infor single tenant cloud and Infor Lawson version 10 on-premises customers.

The Lawson User Experience 10.1.0 continues to deliver on Infor’s commitment to transform enterprise software into a tool that can help drive agility and growth by fundamentally changing the way work is done. The Lawson User Experience 10.1.0 aims to improve and streamline the user experience. End users can configure the Lawson User Experience 10.1.0 screens to accommodate specific preferences. For example, commonly used application screens can be accessed from the landing page, which can reduce clicks and help increase end-user productivity.

Since the Lawson User Experience 10.1.0 can improve the Infor Lawson version 10 applications’ user experience in so many ways, Infor posted here on the Infor Technology Blog a series of Lawson User Experience 10.1.0 videos demonstrating and describing its noteworthy features. The video demonstrations are hosted and narrated by some of Infor’s foremost Lawson User Experience 10.1.0 subject matter experts.

In this post’s part 12 video, Jijo Nemera, Software Engineer, describes and demonstrates the Cleanup Automation Configuration feature. It is available to only Infor Lawson Portal administrators. The Cleanup Automation Configuration tool is designed to cleanup Infor Lawson System Foundation (LSF) system generated files. For example, work files, job entries, job logs, batch report files, print files, and other LSF system generated files. The Cleanup Automation Configuration feature gives administrators the ability to modify or update the configuration file used by the Cleanup Automation Configuration tool.     These are great improvements!
    I am curious if there are plans to bring in a few other Smart Office features
    – Ability to reorder the columns in custom list views
    – Ability to default a value into a field
    – Ability to reorder fields on a form
    – Ability to hide fields on a form

      Glad you are liking those Smart Office features. And so you know, you should expect to see the ‘Cleanup Automation Configuration’ feature in a future release of ISO.
