November 13, 2020

This month marks the following new feature roll-out to users of Infor OS Cloud Edition (CE).

      • User Pin
      • Device Authentication
  • Option to Use Biometrics or User Pin Authentication:
    • After first sign-in, the user will be prompted to select pin-based authentication or device biometric authentication.
  • Warning Message When Adding Third Party Application:
    • When entering the URL on non-Infor application, we now show a warning message that the application may not load if they do not use https.
  • Portal Maintenance Window Messaging:

Intelligent Digital Assistant

  • API Fulfillment Request Timeout Handling:
    • If an API Fulfillment request times out, the skill execution fails instead of capturing the timeout as a HttpStatus code 408 and allowing Response Conditions to handle it accordingly.

Enterprise Application Integration

  • API Maintenance Window Support:
    • When CloudSuites (that don’t support zero downtime upgrades) have planned/unplanned downtimes, they can publish start/stop of maintenance mode. During a maintenance mode, if an end user tries to execute the API, the system will send an API response indicating that the CloudSuite is under maintenance.
  • Token Management for Infor Apps:
    • Access token and Refresh token parameters for Infor authorized apps are now configurable in the registry.
  • New Timestamp when Publishing from OneView:
    • When publishing from OneView to Data Lake, a new timestamp is generated for the data object.
  • Filter & Router Enhancements: Header Values
    • Filtering and Routing based on header values has been extended to all document types.
  • Inbox Usability Enhancements: Infor Go
    • When viewing tasks, alerts or notifications in Inbox on a mobile device, you can now scroll across the whole height.
  • Workflow Authorizations in Workflow Modeler:
    • In the workflow modeler, the workflow authorizations are now visible.
  • Inbox Usability Enhancements: Desktop
    • A vertical splitter is available to resize the panes.
    • You can click on a message text to expand it.

Data Fabric

  • Upload .ndjson to the Wizard:
    • Data Catalog now supports uploading ndjson context with .ndjson content file extensions.
  • Auto-clear Compass Cache on Purge:
    • Purging data objects by filter will automatically clear the Compass cache for that object.
  • Atlas: Base-2 Unit of Measure
    • Atlas now presents data object file sizes in base-2.
  • Compass NULL Experience:
    • Compass better helps users identify when dealing with non-existing or NULL contentwith cell highlighting and a NULL value.
