Infor OS CE September 2019: Updates to Infor ION, Portal and Document Management

This week marks the following new feature roll-out to users of Infor OS Cloud Edition (CE).
Infor ION
- Data Lake:
- Compass: Compass is a new Infor ION Desk Data Lake application that enables you to write and run queries over the newline-delimited JSON and DSV data objects stored in Data Lake.
- Compass APIs: Compass APIs are a new set of Data Lake API methods that enable you to connect your client and run SQL queries to retrieve data from the newline-delimited JSON and DSV data objects stored in Data Lake.
- Compass: Compass is a new Infor ION Desk Data Lake application that enables you to write and run queries over the newline-delimited JSON and DSV data objects stored in Data Lake.

- Scripting:
- Data Flow Support: Scripting is a new component for code execution as part of Infor ION, used as a supporting activity in data flows.
- Tracing and Troubleshooting: The Scripting type component is now supported in OneView for tracing and troubleshooting.

- Data Catalog:
- API: A new API is added to the Data Catalog endpoint in ION API that provides a way for adopters to retrieve a list of objects that have been created or deleted since a given time stamp.
- ION Connect:
- Reply Messages: You can now model data flow for reply messages.
- ION Process:
- Inbox: The Inbox application is enabled for use with Infor Go.
- Start Workflows Widget: A new Start Workflows widget is available for use in starting workflows, reviewing their status, and optionally canceling them.


- OneView:
- Retrieved from Data Lake filter: A new Retrieved from Data Lake filter is available. When you retrieve documents based on a schedule in a data lake flow, the retrieval dates and times are stored.
- Purging Data: You can now purge corrupted data objects from the data lake either through an API or from the web interface.
- Mapper:
- Response BODs: You can now select and transform Response BODs, such as Acknowledge and Show BODs
Infor Portal
- Portal:
- Administration settings: An administrator can set an email disclaimer in an email notification.
- Google Chrome: Text is added to the login page to indicate that Infor OS is optimized for Chrome.
- Infor Federation Services:
- MFA login: Support is added for DUO with MFA login.
- Service Provider: You can now add custom claims for a SAML service provider.
- Infor Chat:
- Drillback: When you drill back to a specific message, Infor Chat highlights the keyword or message in the feed to draw attention to the target area.
- Global Search: You can now search across all Chat content without having to leave the Chat application
- Coleman Digital Assistant:
- Validation: To ensure compatibility with the Chain Skill response action, validation is added so that every skill must have at least one utterance that does not reference a requirement.
- Custom requirement types: Advanced users and Coleman administrators can now add custom multiple- choice requirement types to prompt the user with a limited set of responses.
- Chain Skill action: The Chain Skill action is added to the Requirement Fulfillment response overlay.


- Infor Go:
- Tenant details: The Infor Go application now enables you to access the details of the tenant into which you are logged.
Infor Document Management
- Document Detail View:
- You can now preview a document within the document detail view.
