IPaaS (Infor ION) Services

ION Connect:

  • ION API connection point:
    • In an ION API connection point, you can now pass on header information (except custom headers) as parameters for the API call. The current date/time and last executed date/time can be passed on in ISO 8601 format.
  • ION Enterprise Connector:
    • ION Enterprise Connector now is also supported with Amazon Corretto JDK 8, Windows 2019, and Redhat Linux 6.10, 7.5, and 7.6. At the end of 2019, the support for the Oracle JDK will end.

ION Process:

  • Widgets:
    • The Mingle-LocatorView security role is now automatically provisioned in Infor Ming.le User Management. This security role is required to use the Task Viewer context application.
  • Inbox:
    • These are the Infor Inbox improvements from the Infor Ming.le portal and Homepage business process widgets:
      • A vertical separator added to the details of tasks and alerts
      • The list view of the Alert List, Task List, and Notification List widgets updated with similar styling as the list view in Inbox
      • Animation to fade out messages removed from view
  • Event Management:
    • In the Event Management engine, the BOD processing logic is improved so it uses fewer database resources.

Data Catalog:

  • Registration of ANY type objects:
    • The POST /v1/object API, used to register object metadata with the Data Catalog, now supports the ability to register objects of ANY type.
  • InforOAGIS library:
    • The latest version of the InforOAGIS library (2.14.0) will be included with the ION 12.0.37 release for on-premises customers.
  • BOD objects with multiple XSD files:
    • The Raw View for BODs on the object details page is enhanced for BOD objects containing multiple XSD files.
  • Position Column:
    • The Formatted View on the object schema details page for JSON and DSV objects now includes a Position column.
  • Retrieval of BOD Objects:
    • The GET /v1/object/{name} API now supports the retrieval of BOD objects from the Data Catalog.

Mobile Apps:

  • Workflow Progress:
    • A workflow progress diagram is now available when viewing tasks to see the approval history.
  • Korean Support for Android:
    • Support of the Korean language is added to the Android version.
  • Default Maximum Attachment Size:
    • If the server returns an invalid value for the default maximum attachment size, the app uses 5 MB, which is the default maximum attachment size on the cloud.

ION API Gateway:

  • Theming:
    • Theming styles are now compatible with Microsoft Internet Explorer 11.
  • Add New API Suite:
    • The Swagger host now has SwaggerCollection scenarios, and the server-side pagination in SwaggerCollection is restored.
  • Authorized Apps:
    • The service account secret is now exposed only once in the web API.
  • Traffic and Performance Overtime Widgets:
    • The selected view option is now persistent.
  • Transformation Policies:
    • The Add/Edit policy pop-up dialog box is now a page.
  • ION API and IFS Permissions:
    • All ION APIs require a system administrator, an ION API administrator, or an ION API user role. All APIs exposed through the mobile pages also accept the Suite User role.
  • OAuth2.0:
    • The OAuth2.0 Authorization Code grant for Target endpoint security is now supported.

User Experience Services

Infor Ming.le:

  • User Menu:
    • The Data Management screen is renamed Social Data.

Infor Chat:

  • Notification:
    • If a user is accessing Chat through a browser, an unread group topic and a teammates message count are now displayed in the tab.
  • Read Receipts:
    • If the Read Receipts feature is turned on by tenant administrators, read receipts for teammate conversations can be enabled or disabled by a user from User Settings > Notifications > Chat.
  • Messages:
    • Chat messages automatically scroll to the latest message unless the user has manually scrolled up in a message window. If a user has scrolled up manually, Infor Chat displays a See New Messages option that the user can click to advance to the latest message of the thread.
  • Web Socket Connection:
    • When users have lost web socket connection, the text box is disabled. The text box is enabled only when the user re-establishes the connection.

Coleman Digital Assistant:

  • Response Action:
    • The Chain Skill response action enables you to pass variables from the current skill to another skill.
  • JSONPath Builder:
    • Variables can now be passed as part of JSONPath expressions in Coleman skills.
