Part 7: Ease of Use
In this post’s part 7 video, Duncan Sullivan, Software Engineer, describes and demonstrates the Lawson User Experience 10.1.0’s new ease of use enhancements. The ease of use enhancements available in Lawson User Experience 10.1.0.10 and higher are required field emphasis, user options help tips, and expanded search. Required field emphasis places a marker with the customer’s defined accent color next to key and required fields to easily see which fields need to be filled to inquire. User options help tips provides a description of what a user option is when the user’s cursor hovers over a user option. Expanded search provides search capability to four new areas; favorites, utilities, custom forms and custom pages created in the Infor Lawson Design Studio tool. The ease of use enhancements all are designed to improve the user’s user experience. If you have not already done so, be sure to review the previous Lawson User Experience 10.1.0 parts 1 through 6 videos.
