Infor OS Update: Enhancements to Portal, IFS, ION API Gateway, Search and Coleman

This week marks the following new feature roll-out to users of Infor OS Cloud Edition (CE).

Portal
- Portal enhancements include:
- All Portal popups now have headers.
- The trademark (TM) symbol is displayed next to the Infor icon on the login screen.
- Profile Picture enhancements include:
- Users’ profile pictures now are clear and no longer distorted.
- Users can now crop and reposition their profile picture.
- Branding enhancements include:
- The top-left corner icon in the Portal can be customized. Administrators can control the icon navigation location.
- The top-left corner icon in the Portal can be customized. Administrators can insert their own icon instead of using the Infor icon or the generic home icon.
- Notification enhancements include:
- On the Portal bar, a red dot is now displayed when there are new chat messages.
- On the Portal bar, You have new content is now displayed in the tooltip when the red ball appears for new notifications.
- Audit Logs: When user session times out, the event is logged in the Infor Ming.le log files.

IFS
- Security Role: A new security role for the M3BECE application is implemented.
- Additional Properties: In User Management > Metadata > User Properties > Additional Properties Tab >Add new property of a Multiselect type, the Default field for Multiselect is removed.
- User Management: The Activate Users label is changed to Activate All Users.
ION API
- Gateway: The format of /ionapi/info response is modified to be in line with Cloud Ops specifications.
- Gateway and ION API user interface: ION API Hybrid Support – Connecting MT and ST/On Premises are added. ION API Hybrids refer to deployment topologies where ION API and its Authorized App reside in different network boundaries.
Search
- Recent Searches: You can now see your five most recent searches in a drop down below the search bar.
- In-App Search: You now have the option to search for an item only in the application you are currently using.
- Search: You can search on names that have fewer than three letters. For example, you can now search for the name Li.
Coleman Digital Assistant
- Coleman Skill Builder enhancements include:
- Coleman skills now have graph responses. Advanced users can now create skills that respond with pie, bar,column, or line graphs.
- Partial saves of skills are now allowed. The requirements are relaxed to save a draft. Note that these partial skills are not allowed to build until they are complete and proper.
- Custom Requirement Types enhancements include:
- Administrators can now create custom requirement types by using a Restrict Values strategy. Only exact matches or synonyms are accepted values for this type.
- Administrators can now import allowed values for Expanded Values custom requirement types on the Bulk Edit overlay. Administrators can also quickly add values in the text field on this overlay.
