    Hi Del,

Sorry, I’m a little late to the game!

Are there any slide decks or videos that show integration with Self Service, e.g. how would our super-users access the bookmarks we have today, e.g. some actually point to Lawson forms?

    Thanks, Todd

These Infor Lawson User Experience 10.1.0 videos posted in this video series provide views to answer this question.

[Part 1: Navigation and Landing Page]show’s how the bookmarks are now accessed and what that process looks like.

[Part 3: Improved Forms and Caching]details the new look of Infor Lawson screens.

    Hey Todd,

“Part 1: Navigation and Landing Page” show’s how bookmarks are navigated and accessed in 10.1. If you’re looking to see how the Lawson forms now look, “Part 3: Improved Forms and Caching” has some examples and explanations of the new style.

    Hopefully that helps!

  4. Todd says:

The videos do a good job of showing forms, but my question is more about how this relates to the Employee & Manager Self Service functions in v.10 S3 Things like how are Self Service bookmarks accessed, are there styling changes to those programs, etc. Or is UX10.1 only about how to access & use of actual Lawson programs.

Quasi-related: If we have custom forms and programs, I’m guessing there’s some work on our side to make them look and feel and work like the vanilla stuff.

I’m more interested in seeing how this effects and interacts with Employee/Manager Self Service and the current bookmarking system in Portal/Ming.le.

I see how you move around to Lawson forms, but what about all the HTML bookmarks.

Is there new look and feel to that? How is that presented/accessed in UX10.1?

    Thanks for the discussion!

    Hi Todd,

EMSS does have a new version out as well, which has the same look and feel of the new Lawson 10.1 version, but that won’t be shown in the video series.

Any bookmarks you currently have in your 10.0.x version of Lawson for Infor will be upgraded to the new 10.1 look. For example, if you have your EMSS bookmarks in the bookmark dropdown, they will be moved that left side navigation menu.

I welcome you to give the 10.1 version a try, you can find it on the download site. It’s a simple update to the lawson/portal web and persist directories.

  7. Ashley says:

In version 10.10 will there be any changes to how modules are working? Or is this just an update on how things look?

  8. Delmar Dehn says:

There are no changes to how the Infor Lawson version 10 applications operate. The changes described in this series of blog articles are only user experience updates.
