Infor Ming.le 12 Homepages – Creating a Process Link Menu Widget
July 31, 2017
By Delmar Dehn, Senior Product Manager
Infor Ming.leTM 12’s Homepages feature enables end users to configure user experience screens to their specific preferences. Widgets can be added or rearranged on an Infor Ming.le Homepage by end users to display commonly accessed information on one screen, reducing clicks and increasing end user productivity. Infor Ming.le 12 Homepage Widgets are a powerful feature to tailor the Infor CloudSuite user experience.
Don Peterson, Principal Solution Consultant, has recorded a video demonstrating how quick and easy it is for an end user to create and deploy an Infor Ming.le 12 Homepage Widget for use with the Infor CloudSuite Financials & Supply Management application. Don’s example creates a process link menu Widget and deploys it to the Infor CloudSuite Financials & Supply Management application’s user experience.
We are a new Installation of CSF. Our home pages don’t have a EDIT in the upper right hand corner. Do you know if that’s a security configuration?
Yes, that is a security configuration. An administrator can configure user permissions that limit the functionality that is available to you. If a menu option or a button is not displayed, it may be that you have not been granted permission to it.
For details please see our online documentation at https://docs.infor.com/mingle/12.0.x/
Is there the ability to link excel reports to the menu widget which are held on a shared local drive?
If by a shared local drive you mean a shared network folder, then the answer is yes, provided that end users have security access to the shared network folder.
Hello,
And what would be the url to enter in this case ?
file://server_name/shared_folder ??
Thank you.
