Earlier this month we published an overview video of the Infor Mongoose application development platform. The latest release of Infor Mongoose, 9.03, is a major leap forward on a number of fronts.
- Added the UI designer capability into our H5 client. It was previously only available in the WinStudio smart client.
- Closed the last gaps on reporting with the addition of the new Report form type, so that Mongoose natively provides a full reporting solution, with all the extensibility, rapid development, and cloud support provided by Mongoose.
- Added the ability to import H5 controls, not only as User Controls which required a bit of glue code for each usage, but as what we call User Components, which participate in the metadata mechanisms for display, data binding, validation, list source, etc. And we’ve added a number of the core Hook and Loop Soho controls as User Components, together with a wizard for previewing them and generating the JSON parameters for your desired settings as you add them to your forms.
These are just some of the many enhancements, all of which are explained in the Infor Mongoose 9.0.3 release notes found on Infor Xtreme.
