Over the weekend of October 29th, an update to the Infor CloudSuite Self Service Portal will take place to integrate with Infor Xtreme from a Single Sign on (SSO) perspective. The CloudSuite Self Service Portal will be unavailable on Sunday, October 30th from 8:00 am EDT to 9:00 am EDT. Aside from down time, this article explains the functional impact you will experience as a result of this change.
What does this mean for you as a Customer?
When you log into the CloudSuite Self Service Portal you will need to use your Infor Xtreme password. Currently, you can have a different password than Infor Xtreme, and you could change the password independent of your Infor Xtreme password. Now, all password changes will be done through Infor Xtreme’s password change functionality. When you change your password in Infor Xtreme, that immediately becomes your CloudSuite Self Service Portal password the next time you sign into CloudSuite Self Service Portal (it does not terminate an active CloudSuite Self Service Portal session). Since password changes will now be done in Infor Xtreme, all functionality inside the CloudSuite Self Service Portal for managing your CloudSuite Self Service Portal password will be removed from the product. Functionality to manage end user passwords (Add User, Request password reset Service Requests) for your CloudSuite deployments will remain. The three parts of the CloudSuite Self Service Portal that will be removed are:
- Reset Password – Login Screen
- Reset Password – Contact Management
- Change Password – My Account
If you would like to learn more about this upcoming change, a 30-minute Webinar is scheduled.
